The ramp from northbound Hwy 280 to University Ave in St. Paul closes before morning rush hour on Wednesday, June 3 for concrete repairs. The ramp will be closed for approximately one week. During the closure, traffic will detour north on Hwy 280 to Energy Park Drive and back south on Hwy 280 to reach the University Ave exit.
Southbound Hwy 280 will close at 10 p.m. on Friday, May 29, for installation of a storm sewer pipe beneath the Larpenteur Avenue ramp. The highway will remain closed until 5 a.m. on Monday, June 1. During the closure, there will be no access to Broadway Street from Hwy 280. Southbound and northbound Hwy 280 will remain open between Como Avenue and I-94/Southbound Hwy 280 traffic will detour east on Hwy 36, south on I-35E and west on I-94.
