Southbound Hwy 280 lane closure extended beginning Monday, Aug. 3 for city of Roseville sewer construction
Motorists will encounter an extended lane closure on southbound Highway 280 in Roseville next week as the city of Roseville begins construction of a sanitary sewer main along the west side of the highway. Traffic is currently restricted to a single lane from Broadway Street south to Interstate 94.
Beginning early Monday morning, traffic will be restricted to a single lane from the junction of I-35W/Highway 36/Highway 280 down to Broadway Street. The right turn lanes at County Road B and Broadway Street on the west side of the highway will remain open.
The lane restrictions will last through the Minnesota State Fair but will be completed by mid-September, prior to the start of work on a new signal system at Highway 280 and Broadway Street.
Drivers should use alternate routes to avoid congestion and delays.
