BNSF is revising the path for pedestrians and bikes to cross from one side of the construction on Raymond to the other. During working hours (from 7AM to 4PM), bikes will have to take a detour. From the north, there will be signs telling them to go east on Como to the Transitway and exit on Energy Park Drive (or vice versa). For pedestrians, the plan is to run a shuttle from one side of the bridge to the other (although they are still working out the details).
The sidewalk will be open before and after working hours and on weekends. BNSF will still have security people ensuring that people don't pass through construction since not everyone understands the no-crossing signs. It also sounds like they will have additional security down the tracks by Langford to make sure there are no illegal crossings there.
