As of last Thursday, September 17, Lunda Construction Company, Prime Contractor, told staff at MnDOT that they are looking at opening the Larpenteur interchange by October 2, 2009, this includes the ramps and bridge over TH 280. The bridge over the tracks and to the west should open by October 19. The road construction at the eastbound ramp onto Como will start Sept. 28 and last approximately two weeks.
If you are heading northbound on Hwy 280 and want to get onto Como, take Hwy 280, exit at Larpenteur, turn right on Larpenteur (east), turn right on Eustis (south) to get to Como. If you are heading southbound on Hwy 280 and want to get onto Como, there is no change in the normal route. To head north on Hwy 280 from Como, fom Como, turn north on Eustis, left on Larpenteur (west) then take the second right onto the northbound Hwy 280 ramp from Larpenteur. To head south on Hwy 280 from Como, there is no change to the regular route.
