Motorists will encounter single-lane traffic on north and southbound Hwy 280 in Roseville until late next week as crews build a new center median and remove the turn lanes at Ramsey County Road B. The two inside lanes of the roadway were closed Oct. 19.
Broadway St. at Hwy 280 in Roseville also closed Oct. 19 for additional sanitary sewer work and repaving at the intersection by the city of Roseville. The roadway will remain closed for approximately four weeks. The closure will not affect traffic on Hwy 280. During the closures, motorists must follow the posted detours or use alternate routes to avoid congestion and delays.
Access between Hwy 280 and County Road B was permanently closed east of Hwy 280 in August, 2007 and crews are currently building a berm and cul de sac at the west end of County Road B. The Larpenteur Avenue bridge and ramps between southbound Hwy 280 and Larpenteur Avenue are currently expected to reopen early next week to handle additional traffic displaced by the closure of Broadway Street.
