An invitation to join JOTP’s Community Committee:
Hello St. Anthony Park!
Do you have ideas for improvements, events, or just want to stay up to date with happenings at South Saint Anthony Community Center? Then participate in the St. Anthony Park & Joy of the People community committee!
The first meeting will be from 6:30-8:00 on Thursday, October 20th. Location: Joy of the People, 890 Cromwell Ave.
At these monthly meetings we will brainstorm, discuss, and help facilitate future projects and events at the park. There will also be updates about current projects and events at the center. Through the committee we want to keep continually generate ideas, while trying to turn them into tangible results that benefit the entire community.
This committee will also work towards getting more community input about happenings at the center and establishing a consistent and collaborative dialogue between JOTP and the neighborhood. If you do not have time to participate in the committee, but have thoughts, concerns, and suggestions for the center in general this will be the best forum to make your voice heard.
If you cannot make it meeting notes will be published monthly on the Joy of the People website http://www.joyofthepeople.org/.
