We received a letter from Elpis Enterprises about a great opportunity for an AmeriCorps member to fill their Employment Navigator position. Please read below for more information:
Elpis Enterprises is a non-profit youth development organization serving youth impacted by homelessness ages 16-23 in the Twin Cities. Elpis Enterprises believes that every youth deserves an opportunity to excel. Through social enterprise, youth build skills, build experience and build relationships in the community. Young people develop as individuals and potential employees by working in real enterprises gaining the skills, knowledge, and confidence necessary to overcome homelessness and become contributing members of our community.
Youth homelessness is a circumstance, not a disability. According to the Wilder Foundation, on any given night, an estimated 2,500 Minnesota youth experience homelessness. Yet given the opportunity, youth experiencing homelessness can excel, build skills and compete in the workplace with a high degree of success.
We are currently recruiting a qualified candidate for the position of Employment Navigator.
