What’s Happening

Nothing fancy – just neighbors, sunshine, and free Ben & Jerry’s ice cream! Drop by Hampden Park anytime between 2-5 PM to relax, grab a cone, and connect with others in St. Anthony Park.

SAPCC committees will be around to share updates and chat about what’s happening in the neighborhood – from equity and transportation to environment and land use.

Bring a neighbor, bring your ideas, or just bring your sweet tooth. This event is free and open to all!

Meet the SAPCC Committees

Each of our four volunteer committees will be at the Ice Cream Social – ready to share what they’re working on and hear your ideas:

  • Equity Committee – Builds connections and works to make sure all neighbors, especially renters, families, and new immigrants, have a voice in shaping our community.
  • Environment Committee – Maintains community rain gardens, addresses environmental and park issues, and coordinates large projects like the annual Kasota Ponds cleanup.
  • Transportation Committee – Focuses on pedestrian-safe streets, cycling improvements, transit access, and long-term infrastructure planning in the neighborhood.
  • Land Use Committee – Reviews development projects, supports neighborhood design standards, and helps shape how land is used in St. Anthony Park.

Stop by and talk with committee members – your input helps guide the work we do together in St. Anthony Park.

Special Guests & Activities

In addition to ice cream and conversations with SAPCC committees, the Ice Cream Social will feature:

  • Live music to set a fun, welcoming atmosphere
  • Special guests from the neighborhood and City of St. Paul
  • Fun, family-friendly activities
  • Community and city organizations sharing resources and updates

It’s a chance to enjoy an afternoon of music, treats, and connection while learning more about what’s happening in our community.
